About the Farm
Firkløvergård is a little farm with 8 hectarers of land. It is lies by the coast with a wide view over the sea of Southern Fuenen.
The farm is owned by the married couple Jytte Staal Vigsø and Ole Thomsen, who bought it in 2003.
It lies on the Danish "Bicycle Route 8" about a kilometer from Fjellebroen yacht habour. There is about 13 km to the city of Faaborg and about 16 km to Svendborg - the second largest city on the island of Fuenen. The nearest villages are Ulbølle and Vester Åby.
The main building of the farm was build in 1910, but have been renovated many times since then. Most lately in 1999.
The other buildings of the farm was build in 1989. They had not been used much until Jytte and Ole bought the place in 2003 and totally rebuild parts of the buildings to use it as rooms for tourists. These rooms were finished in 2005 and is therefore very new.
Of the farm's 8 hectares of land, 3,4 hectares are rented out to farmers, and the rest is planted with primarily Normanns pine.
